Known for her honest communication, strategic mindset, and people-first approach, Kari focuses on helping buyers, sellers, investors, and relocating families feel informed, confident, and supported throughout the real estate process.

With more than 700 real estate transactions and decades of experience in real estate sales, investing, development, renovations, negotiations, and business leadership, Kari brings real-world experience that goes far beyond traditional real estate. She actively invests in real estate herself and believes homeownership and investing should feel approachable, understandable, and achievable for more people.

Kari specializes in residential homes, acreage properties, land, ranch and recreation properties, relocation, investment real estate, and strategic home marketing throughout Wyoming. She combines modern technology, high-level marketing, and strong communication systems to create a smooth and personalized experience for her clients while helping listings stand out in today’s market.

Before real estate, Kari spent more than 25 years in leadership, business development, recreation management, and large-scale project coordination. Her background includes helping oversee projects across the country ranging from residential and commercial developments to waterparks, recreation centers, athletic complexes, trails, and zoo exhibits. As a Certified Negotiator, investor, mentor, and business leader, she brings both creativity and practical experience to every client relationship.

Kari is also proud to work alongside her family at Team Happold. Her husband Mike brings more than 30 years of experience working with landowners, conservation projects, wetland restoration, habitat improvement, and land-related negotiations across all 50 states. Her son Cade earned his Finance Degree from the University of Wyoming after successfully owning and operating his own landscape business for seven years before transitioning into full-time real estate. Together, their family combines real-world investing, development, negotiation, and marketing experience to help clients navigate real estate with confidence.

Proud to call Cheyenne home, Kari understands firsthand the challenges that come with relocation and major life transitions. Her family’s move through the Department of Defense gave her personal experience with the PCS process, allowing her to better serve military families and relocation clients throughout Wyoming.

Outside of real estate, Kari enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, paddle boarding, snowmobiling, and spending time with her family. Most of all, her favorite thing is spending quality time with her grandkids. Originally from Nebraska, she grew up on a dairy farm and worked in her family’s restaurant business, experiences that shaped her strong work ethic, entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to treating people the right way.
