The Greater Cheyenne Greenway

Looking for a simple way to stay active with the family this summer? The Greater Cheyenne Greenway may be just what you are looking for.

What is it?

Stretching over 37 miles through the city of Cheyenne, the Greenway is a 10-foot wide path that connects neighborhoods, parks, businesses, and school districts to provide the residents with a safe path to exercise and explore.  From Sun Valley to Western Hills; Downtown to Harmony Meadows; LCCC to the Pointe; it's easy to access trailheads can take you anywhere you want to go, whether you are taking a walk, riding your bike, or simply walking to the park.

After its conception in 1990 by the Crow Creek Greenway Committee, the Greater Cheyenne Greenway underwent decades of construction and growth with the help of the city of Cheyenne, local government agencies, businesses, volunteers, and schools. In the future, the city hopes to continue construction in order to connect the growing communities of Cheyenne.
